1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use hedgesignal.co.uk (the “site”) or receive sample leads from us. By using the site or asking for sample leads, you accept them. If you don’t accept them, please don’t use the site.
If you subscribe to HedgeSignal, the terms of your subscription will apply to it as well. Our privacy policy explains how we use personal data.
2. Who we are
HedgeSignal is a trading name of Team Dimensions Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 08348964) with its registered office at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. “We”, “us” and “our” mean Team Dimensions Ltd. You can email us at hello@hedgesignal.co.uk.
3. Who HedgeSignal is for
HedgeSignal is for businesses in the UK that provide foreign exchange or international payment services, such as FX brokers and payment firms. If you ask for sample leads, you confirm that you’re doing so for a business and that you’re allowed to act for it. “You” means you and the business you act for.
4. Examples on this site
The leads shown on this site, and the companies, people, figures, patch counts and lead scores in them, are examples, not real cases. Figures that describe our data, such as how many companies we track, are estimates and may change.
5. Sample leads
Sample leads are free, and asking for them doesn’t commit you to anything. We decide how many leads a sample includes, which regions we can offer and whether we can send one.
If we send you sample leads, you may use them only to try HedgeSignal and to contact the companies they name, for your own business. You must:
- keep them confidential, and not share, publish or sell them;
- contact companies only in their business capacity, through the people a lead names in their work roles, and never use a lead to contact anyone at home or as a private individual;
- follow the law and your regulator’s rules when you contact anyone, including UK data protection law, the rules on marketing calls and emails in the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, and the Financial Conduct Authority’s rules on financial promotions where they apply to you; and
- delete them if we ask you to.
Leads are built from public records and our own analysis. They can be incomplete or out of date, and a lead isn’t a promise that a company needs currency services or that you’ll win its business. Check anything important before you rely on it.
6. Using this site
You must not:
- copy or collect content from the site in bulk, including with bots, scrapers or crawlers, except as a search engine indexing pages for its results;
- try to gain unauthorised access to the site or the systems behind it, or interfere with how it works; or
- use the site in any way that breaks the law.
We may change, suspend or withdraw the site, or any part of it, at any time.
7. Our rights in HedgeSignal
We, or the people we license them from, own the rights in the site, in HedgeSignal’s leads and in the database behind them, including copyright and database right, and in the HedgeSignal name and logo. Other names and logos on the site belong to their owners.
The site and our leads include public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0. LEI data comes from GLEIF, which publishes it under the CC0 licence. Information from public sources stays subject to its own licence terms.
8. Information, not advice
The site and sample leads are for general information. They aren’t legal, financial, investment or other professional advice, and nothing on the site is advice about currency, hedging or any financial product. We don’t promise that the site or the leads are accurate, complete or up to date, or that the site will always be available.
9. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow us to limit.
Subject to that, and because the site and sample leads are free and meant for business use:
- we aren’t liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or the sample leads, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise;
- in particular, we aren’t liable for any loss of profits, sales, business, revenue, opportunity, goodwill or reputation, or for any indirect or consequential loss; and
- if we are found liable despite this, our total liability to you is limited to £100.
If you’re a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your legal rights.
10. Your responsibility
You’re responsible for how you use the site and any sample leads. If your breach of these terms or of the law, or your misuse of a lead, leads to a claim against us, you agree to cover our resulting losses and reasonable legal costs.
11. Links to other sites
The site links to other websites, such as the public sources we use. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for them.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We’ll post the new version here and change the date at the top. The terms that apply are the ones in force when you use the site or receive sample leads.
13. General
If a court decides that part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later. These terms are the whole agreement between you and us about the site and sample leads.
14. Law and courts
These terms, and any dispute about them, the site or sample leads, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you’re a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
